After 14 years of service, Jan Quinn announced her retirement as the Executive Officer of the Onslow County Home Builders Association in December, 2019. During her tenure, Jan worked tirelessly to unite and advance Home Builder interests on the local, state and national levels. Through her hard work and dedication, the Onslow County Home Builders Association grew significantly and received both state and national recognition. Jan will be missed by all for her honesty, organization, and dedication to the Home Builder Industry.
Kathryn Atkinson Stansbury, the former Director of Membership Services at the North Carolina Home Builder Association, fondly remembers Jan as a team player who was a reliable and straight forward leader. "Jan ALWAYS had the utmost concern for her Association members and their well being," Stansbury recalls.
Kelley St. Germain, former Executive Officer at the Ashe County Home Builders Association, recounts the many times that Jan was willing to listen and offer guidance both to him and other new Executive Officers across the state of North Carolina. "Her wisdom and knowledge of the Home Building industry in all it's many facets, which she freely shared, will be sorely missed," said St. Germain. He also remembers the many times that he saw her at state and national Home Builder events where she never missed a chance to proudly represent both her members and Onslow County, NC.
The Onslow Home Builders Association would like to take this opportunity to thank Jan for her many years of service to their organization and to the Construction Industry.
